One of the ‘new wave’ of Oregon cheesemakers, Sarah Marcus and Jim Hoffman left big city careers to follow a rural dream focused on cheese. The couple chose Dundee, in the heart of the Willamette Valley wine country, for their home and creamery. Briar Rose Creamery is known for handcrafted fresh and aged goat cheeses and several aged cow milk cheeses along with award winning chocolate goat cheese truffles.
