2014-15 License Fees

Additional web and large format, print-quality images from your studio session are available as follows:

$50 – web rights – 150 dpi (not print quality)
$150 – 8″ x 10″ print + digital file
$225 – 11” x 17”print + digital file

You receive a mounted print and a Flash Drive with all purchased images and a license to use digitals or prints for non-commercial purposes (e.g. no calendars for retail sale). See below for more on Copyright.


Deposit of $300 reserves your session. A second installment of 50% of the remaining balance is due prior to the shoot. The remaining balance is due prior to delivery of final images.

Installment arrangements available for small cheesemakers.

Clients receive an invoice and can pay with check or credit card via PayPal. Please make checks payable to Cheese Chick Productions LLC

How will I receive my final selections?

Final image selections are shared with clients immediately upon receipt of the final balance.

I use Dropbox or an .ftp site of the clients’ choosing for digitals and a Flash Drive via USPS for delivery of files.

I provide print quality files of each purchased shot along with a smaller, web-friendly version (72 dpi) for easy sharing

Professional prints and promotional products may be ordered for an additional fee.


What about the images not selected?

Client may digitally share all final images from the shoot, provided the watermark is not removed. Watermark will be removed from your purchased selections.Share final Images

Images not selected by client may:

  • appear on cheese-friendly websites, digital and print publications. Cheesemaker credit will always be requested
  • appear as prints in wall art series marketed to cheese shops, tasting rooms and cheese loving consumers
  • appear in a Royalty Free/Stock Photography library for use by cheese shops, publishers and bloggers

Copyright and Print Release

Photographs are the intellectual property of the creator. As with music, books or movies, you can purchase the use, but the creator still owns the material. Images are tagged with copyright metadata which may not be altered or removed.

I will write a license that will let clients do whatever they need to do and my price will reflect the value of that license.

  • Standard License includes print and use rights to images purchased via package or a la carte. selected images for 3 years. You may use images to promote your business but may not use them to create products for retails sale such as calendars or magazines.

If the images accompany articles in editorial publications, the following attribution is requested: © Cheese Chick Productions

I welcome inquiries from editors looking for additional images at industry standard rates.

Cheese Chick Productions may use the images in marketing and promotion of the business.
